Clatsop Community College Summer Term Registration Opens

Registration is now open for the Summer Term at Clatsop Community College. A list of credit, workforce training and community education classes is available at www.clatsopcc.edu/register. A printed schedule of summer courses and Arts & Ideas events will be arriving in households soon.

A special series of college prep courses are offered for junior and senior high school students. These courses will help you be a step ahead in planning for college. Classes include SAT test preparation, resume preparation, computer skills, financial management, career exploration and essay writing. For more information, contact Mary Fryling at 503-338-2408.

Don’t have a high school diploma? Improve your job prospects by obtaining your GED. The time is now as GED testing will change in 2014. Complete your test before the deadline. CCC is continuing to offer GED preparation classes and testing through December 6, 2013. To enroll in preparation classes or to schedule testing, please contact George Heiner in Columbia Hall Room 114 or call 503-338-2347.

Expand your summer reading through the CCC Dora Badollet Library. If you are a library card holder at any Oregon Library Passport Program library, you can borrow from the College’s extensive and specialized collections at no cost.
