ASTORIA SCHOOL BOARD NIXES HIGH SCHOOL BASED HEALTH CTR

In a 3-2 vote, with some members abstaining, The Astoria School Board on Wednesday elected to discontinue discussions with Clatsop County Health  for establishing a school-based health center at Astoria High School.  School Board member Brad Pope was one of two who voted for going forward with the planning.  He said unresolved questions going forward were the basis for the votes against proceeding with the plan.
