Sign rule changes
reviewed
The board of
commissioners held a public hearing on proposed amendments to sign regulations
in the Clatsop County Standards document. The rules, which regulate the size and
placement of permanent and temporary signs, were modified to remove any
content-based regulations, in order to comply with a recent Oregon Supreme Court
ruling.
The board is
scheduled to vote on the amended regulations Oct. 24.
