Wahkiakum County Commissioners will appoint Mark Howie as County Sheriff

At their regular meeting on Tuesday, November 6th, Wahkiakum County Commissioners will appoint Mark Howie to the County Sheriff position.  He will fill out the term of recently deceased Jon Dearmore.  The office will next be up for election in the 2013 general election.

Also on the agenda:  a request for budget modification by County Prosecuter Dan Bigelow.
