Reeves will present her findings to the public tonight at 5:45pm at the Clatsop Community College Performing Arts Center, 588 16th Street in Astoria. Doors open at 5:30pm.
Dulcye Taylor, President of the Astoria
Downtown Historic District Association, talked about the process and the event
on Coast Community Radio’s Talk of Our Towns:
“Michelle Reeves, an urban strategist, has been coming to Astoria, looking at how Astoria works in regards to parking, traffic
flow, streetscape and street dialogue. The
event will be a culmination of her findings, her recommendations on the story
of Astoria, what factors might help us with some economic growth in downtown, and
how we can leverage the unique assets of Astoria to make us even more cool and
wonderful.”
