OREGON SENATE BILL 204 STAKEHOLDER WORK GROUP MEETING SET FOR NOV. 18

The Oregon Health Authority has convened a work group of stakeholders for discussions about Senate Bill 204. The bill requires that OHA prescribe by rule a uniform payment methodology for hospital and ambulatory surgical center services that:
(a) Incorporates the most recent Medicare payment methodologies established by the
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, or similar payment methodologies, for hospital and ambulatory surgical center services;
(b) Includes payment methodologies for services and equipment that are not fully addressed by Medicare payment methodologies; and
(c) Allows for the use of alternative payment methodologies, including but not limited to pay-for-performance, bundled payments and capitation.

The work group will meet Friday, Nov. 18, 3-5 p.m., Room 1B at the Portland State Office Building, 800 N.E. Oregon St. Portland, OR 97232

Public comment: All SB 204 work group meetings are open for the public to attend. However, there will be no public comment or testimony taken during the work group sessions. All comment and testimony is welcome at the Oregon Health Policy Board's monthly meetings, which are the second Tuesday of every month.
